National Women Physicians Day
National Women Physicians Day observed on 3rd February celebrates Elizabeth Blackwell’s birthday. Elizabeth Blackwell was the first female medical doctor in the U.S. It is high time that we honor women doctors across the country, and the progress they’ve made since Blackwell’s time. Though if we were to observe nationally, there are still fewer female doctors than male doctors, but this has been changing slowly.
